What is it?
The Corbett Alumni Association (CAA) is an alumni run, non-profit organization that was formed January 15, 2008. The purpose of CAA is to help alumni and other friends of Corbett High School stay connected with each other and support academic and extracurricular programs at Corbett.

Who is an Alumnus?
An alumnus is defined as: (1) any person who has attended or is attending Corbett High School, (2) any person who has taught or is teaching at Corbett High School and (3) any person who has shown substantial interest in the welfare of Corbett High School.

Who is on the Board of Directors?
The Board consists of Officers and Class Representatives. The Officers are alumni and serve one-year terms. The Representatives are from each graduating class of CHS that will celebrate a 5-year anniversary reunion in the current year. They serve one year terms.

What committees are there?
The Representatives serve as chairperson or co-chairperson of the following committees: Alumni Events and Projects, Campus News, Finance, History, Newspaper, Reunions and Website. The four ad hoc committees are: Alumni, Audit, Budget and Nominating.

Is my class having a reunion this year?
You can find out about all of the scheduled reunions by visiting the Reunions page.

I've moved and no longer get the Alumni newsletter. What can I do?
Please visit the Change of Address page and provide your contact information.

What fundraising will there be?
The Directors recognize that if the school is to be helped effectively, the Alumni Association must have a predictable source of income. Then the Board can establish a budget that helps meet the instructional needs of the school.

The Corbett Alumni Association will have no membership dues. Instead, it will ask Corbett alums to make a once-a-year contribution to the Annual Fund Campaign. With the exception of this year, the Campaign will coincide with the school year.

How can you help?
Here are a few ideas where you can volunteer.

(1) Class rosters. We are concluding a drive to include every class member in the Alumni database. This will enable us to inform these people of current Corbett alumni and school activities. Most of the class rosters have been turned in, except for the 1990's and 2000's. If you can help gather information for any of these classes, please call.

(2) Class reunions. The CAA will provide support for any class celebrating a five-year anniversary reunion. If you would like to help on your class reunion committee, please call your classmate on the Board for details.

(3) CAA committees. Each Director serving on CAA's Board chairs or co-chairs a committee consisting of classmates who want to help. Please call your representative on the Board for details.
